Our client, a leading EPC Contractor is looking to recruit a Prject Control Manager to oversee a Major Solar Project in Abu Dhabi. This role is responsible for ensuring that projects are effectively planned, scheduled, and executed according to the defined scope, budget, and timeline. The PCM Manager will work closely with senior management, project managers, and teams to monitor progress, identify potential risks, and implement corrective actions as needed. The role requires a strong understanding of project management principles, budget management, risk analysis, and the ability to lead and motivate teams. • Establish project control plan & Procedures. • Identify and develop a project control team to manage the required tasks. • Develop L2, L3, L4 baseline schedules, package, and other project control-related templates in line with the contractual requirements. • Develop the Engineering, Procurement deliverable list. • Develop the project Tracker Sheets (for Construction key Activities). • Develop KPI templates and guide the team for regular updating. • Supervise Schedules, Implementation, integration, and updates using P6 software. • Envisage the improvement proposals for Site data recording and report Automation. • Coordination & necessary follow-ups with the Engineering, procurement & Construction team for various project affairs. • Proactively anticipate project risks and develop contingency and mitigation plans. • Take lead in Project Risk Management plan, periodic reviews, and mitigation plans. • Maintain the Schedule's health by conducting a Health Check for the BL, and ensure that the Schedule's quality is good. • Monitor activity delays and manage the time-bar compliance of all delay events, including the timely preparation and issuance of Delay Notices (DN) as per contractual requirements. • Collaborate with the Commercial and Contracts Team to support and contribute to all contractual matters through timely and effective inputs. • Prepare delay analysis, time impact analysis, and EOT as needed during the project tenure. • Ensure timely submission of delay notices. Interim claims and detailed claims. Qualifications: • Bachelor’s degree in engineering. • PMP / PSP from PMI will be a value addition. • 10+ Years with a minimum of 3 years on renewables projects
